We’re not concerned about our own charitability, or care for the modern man… it’s just that pesky “rich men have been getting rich on the backs of the middle class and working class for thousands of years, and never seem to be too much of in a hurry to give any of it back or really invest in their communities, instead buying dozens of mansions and leaving whatevr is left over to their heirs” thing that gets us

because they (I mean everyone) doesn’t give it to charity…

if they did… no one would have ever even though “hey we need welfare”…

all the needs would have been filled…

we don’t have a “department of buying rich people Mercedes” in the gov…. why? because that take care of that themselves…

Well, the US government believes that it can handle the money more responsibly than charities. Plus, how do you decide which charities?

Also, its not just the liberals that let money change hands. Look up ‘Trickle-down Economics’. Both parties do it, just in opposite directions.

Because they like for you to pay taxes and give to charity but they don’t like to practice what they preach!

Because they think the other guy has to pay.

Notice how many of Obama’s appointments didn’t pay all their taxes.

And many other Liberals as well.

They want CONTROL over our lives. That’s why.

This is not what America is about, this is what the Soviet Union was about. No American liberal wanted to live in that dump when it did exist. Hypocrites.

The ones in our government want to so that they can create a larger more diverse powerful voting bloc. Others want it because they are bitter and think they are OWED something they didn’t earn. For more information, see some of the answers. Charity is no longer charity once mandated. No one stops to think about all the non-profit groups that depend on donations to operate. (Hospice, Salvation Army, Humane Society….etc) They are donated to generously by all walks of life. When they no longer have the extra income to give…they just won’t.

Come now, we all know liberals only care about other people when it’s somebody else’s money paying for it.
